I am very excited to welcome you to this new Yap High School website! This is an addition to the other mediums of disseminating information to you whether you are a student, teacher, school staff, parent, guardian, or a state leader!
Through this site, we will inform you of what’s happening on this campus to better understand how crucial your contributions are to the improvement of our public high school in your capacity as a stakeholder!
Knowledge is a powerful asset that can change our perception of what is hearsay versus what is reality, and that can make a big difference on how you can better support and lend a helping hand as a volunteer and contributor as wise voices of our community.
With the website's vibrant and multifaceted pages, you’ll enjoy seeing students take part in meaningful learning experiences, get to know the teachers and wide range of subjects we offer, as well as receive updated announcements. VISION
Students will graduate ready to further their education or join the work force.
MISSION
Students will be taught in vocational classes and academic classes, to the state and national standards, so they may successfully transition into the workforce, trade school or a college/university.
Students will demonstrate problem solving, solution focused skills, communication and coping skills.
Students will demonstrate law abiding citizenship skills, self-acceptance and respect for others.
